All In My Head

I lay here awake
With nothing but a dream inside my head
I drop to me knees, praying it wasn't just a dream
Wishing it was truly your face I saw...
Hoping it was your eyes I looked into...
Begging it to be your hand I was holding..
And crying...thinking it was your voice I hear
But as I lay in my bed...a tear rolls down my face
Knowing that He's, just all in my head.

Midnight Prayers

Dear Lord,
I come to You tonight with tears in my eyes.
I know You never promised this would be easy, but why is it so hard?
So hard to keep strong..to live for You..and wait for what You want for me.
I love you Lord..
You are love..You are strength.
I thank You for the friends you have put into my life.
I pray to You, Lord, asking You to please show me where to go,
What to do..
Do with me a You please, because I will listen.
But God,
Please bring him back into my life,
You used him for amazing things, and I don't want that to end.
I will wait, because I know it is worth waiting for.
Please show him that it is worth it as well.
Praise to You in the highest.

November Sun

Dearest November,
Thank you for bringing out the Sun after days of rain.
You helped bring out the happiness in everyone today.
Thanks to you oh great November,
I awoke to look out the window to see the sun, bringing along a smile on my face.
My sunglasses come out of the case.
Jeans and a t-shirt is all I need today.
Oh the fall leaves are falling making today a perfect day..
Filled with brightness and color reflecting off the beautiful Earth.
