Prayer to my Lord

As I lay my head down I begin to pray
To you my Lord,
The one whose given to hope.
And someone to talk to.
My prayer continues into a river tears
Asking for forgiveness for all of my sins
Not only do you forgive me,
But you wept with me.
You are my strength and my life.
As I close in prayer I want to thank you.
Thank you for the sacrifice you've made
To take the blame for my faults.
You are the way, the truth, the light.
Amen.
